It is sad to see developing countries falling over themselves to emulate the industrial agriculture model in the US, which ironically is under so much scrutiny here. In many ways industrial ag is worse overseas becuase of corruption and genuine lack of oversight (I've heard some stories about pesticide use in Egypt for example). Hopefully they will realize what we have here is not the best way, but its very hard to turn the clock back on $1 hamburgers. I will repost this on our Facebook fan page with a link. Take care! I still have those gifts he gave us, as he it was his habit every year, a S.R 500 calculator, a ring and a bracelet. The calculator stopped working and the ring and the bracelet changed color and they do not fit anymore, but to me they are among my prized possessions. I have his picture in a magnetic frame where I could see it everyday, on my fridge.
